Hello, I am concerned about reported poor quality of mics, but I need it for home karaoke, would it be good?
Answer: I think the mics are fine for home karoke. They are free of interference on my unit but the mics are very directional so you do have to speak straight into them. If you go off centre the volume drops rapidly. I think the power rating is over stated on the unit. I guess the speaker is rated at 500 watts but the battery powered amplifier driving it seems more like 20 watts. Fine in a room but marginal for the outdoor announcements I bought it for. -
