Other than the novelty of it, what warrants this being so expensive? I don’t see anything in the manufacturing process that explains it.
Answer: It’s the novelty and lack of competition, IMO. I got it when I wanted to really scale back my other drinking and I didn’t hate it but I don’t reorder after I ran out. I started making my own citrus+hop water using old brewing equipment and it was much cheaper, better, and no cans piling up because I kegged it. Not an option for everyone of course but ultimately I prefer flavored sparkling water over these.
