Fein Starlock E-Cut Precision Saw Blade - Precision Cutting for Wood, Drywall & Soft Plastics, Double-Row Japanese Teeth, Narrow Waisted, 1-38 Width,

The Fein StarLock E-Cut Precision Oscillating Saw Blade has garnered a mixed reception among customers, reflecting diverse experiences based on application and material. The overall sentiment highlights the high quality inherent in Fein tools, with many users praising these blades as among the best options readily available for wood cutting. Several reviewers noted that when used correctly and on the appropriate materials, such as wood and soft plastics, the blades performed exceptionally well, cutting quickly and cleanly without excessive force. However, a significant drawback was noted when using these blades for cutting through plaster walls. One customer's experience detailed catastrophic performance when tackling this material, where all three blades in a package severely degraded after making only a couple of cuts. This suggests that the StarLock blades may not withstand more demanding materials, such as plaster, and should be reserved for softer woods and plastics to maximize their life. Ultimately, while the Fein StarLock E-Cut blades shine in specified applications, caution is advised to avoid unfortunate outcomes in more challenging environments. **
