The Polaris Freedom Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is a cable-free option for all in-ground pools up to 50ft. It comes equipped with four cleaning modes and intelligent cleaning technology. While the cleaner is in operation, there is no need to turn off the pool, and the pool can be used as soon as the cleaning cycle is completed. The Double Helix brush design enhances debris collection by channeling dirt toward the vacuum inlet as it scrubs the surface of your pool. Feedback from customers has been mixed. Some users have found that the cleaner does not trap fine dirt particles, and instead, shoots the dirt back out, settling at the bottom of the pool later. Users have also reported that the smarter cleaning mode does not cover the entire pool, leaving 20% unmapped and uncleaned. While the cleaner is equipped with a one-of-a-kind Double Helix brush design, there may still be times when manual brushing is necessary.
