Answer: Yes. It has extra wires because it is a new design compared to the older one. However, mine included very easy to follow instructions and it took less than five minutes to wire and install it. -

Answer: The switch works but did was not an exact fit. Had to modify housing on my SE. It is 25 plus years old which may be the reason. -
