Answer: Hi! No this is not a fire pit for ants. Mesa is about bringing people together. It is a great smokeless fire pit that can be used in smaller settings or when you have limited time. It’s perfect for a post-dinner s’mores roast, a tabletop centerpiece, or quickly providing a relaxing ambiance. Really, this product is a more flexible and approachable version of the larger fire pits that can be used in smaller spaces. -

Answer: No there isn’t, cut out a lid from a coffee can or large fruit can. It will smother it -

Answer: Any pellets made for any pellet stove. But they do burn fast and you can only burn a handful at a time. -

Can you burn under a patio with a roof?
Answer: I do all the time with no issues. -

Can any wood be used?
Answer: Yes any wood can work with the fire pit as long as they are not blocking the burn holes at the top. We also do not recommend the use of any accelerants as well. -

What’s the best way to clean the outside of your stainless steel Solo Mesa stove?
Answer: Hello, you would clean it the same way you would any other Stainless Steel surface. With Bar Keeper Friend and a sponge or soft cloth. -

Can this be use as a legitimate heat source for a backporch table or is this just for looks basically?
Answer: It’s very small. I’d say I use this one more for looks than as a heat source. I use this one instead of a large fire pit when I feel lazy because it’s super convenient. I do like this hassle free fire pit. -
