    Answer: Claritin-D® is both a decongestant and an antihistamine (pseudoephedrine). Allegra-D® and Allegra® (fexofenadine) have the same difference as Claritin® and Claritin-D®. Allegra-D® and Claritin-D® should be used when allergy symptoms include a stuffy nose because decongestants help dry out nasal congestion.
  • Question: Where is this medication manufactured?

    Answer: On the bottle it says the Allegra is distributed by Chattem, Inc., Chattanooga, TN. It doesn't say where it is manufactured. That is all the information I have, but it IS exactly the same Allegra prescribed by Dr. Victor Cohen of Las Vegas, my allergist. I hope that helps.
  • Question: Why is Allegra so cheap?

    Answer: Because it is not Allegra D you can get this price in stores if you shop around.
  • Question: What is the shape of the pill?

    Answer: Allegra I have seen in round shape but Allergy relief pills come in oblong shape (Shop Rite brand).
  • Question: Do the tablets work any different than the gel caps?

    Answer: I prefer the gel caps it seems to get into your system faster. I ordered the tabs by mistake.
  • Question: Is Allegra made in America?

    Answer: Made in Germany. That's a surprise to me! But I (personally) would trust Germany.
  • Question: Is there shipping on the 70 count of Allegra?

    Answer: I have a Prime membership, so shipping was free. It may be different for non-Prime accounts.
  • Question: Is this the same as Allegra D?

    Answer: No it is not the same as Allegra D. Allegra D has add ingredients. Allegra D is not safe for pets and you should check with your doctor if you can take.
