The Builders Edge 130110008001 Surface Block is an excellent product for those looking to mount light fixtures, security cameras or other devices onto their vinyl siding. It is designed to overlap vinyl siding and comes in two parts that fit behind and in front of the siding. It is easy to install and can be attached flush to the soffit siding by cutting off the tab. It is made of thick vinyl and drilling holes does not cause it to crack or break. Feedback from customers who purchased the product has been positive, with many saying it is exactly what they were looking for. The Surface Block was described as "perfect", "substantially made", and a "must-have" when installing a device to the siding. Customers appreciated that the block was paint-friendly, and it was ready to use without requiring any painting.
