The acrylic material screen does have a few small black spots, but does not interfere with the quality of the light source. The kit is easy to use and includes everything needed to get started, with the exception of a video tutorial which we recommend watching. The kit does not come with pegs to keep the booklet stable, but it is great for beginners or as a starter kit. It is a good tool for drawing in the car on long trips home if it's dark as well. Overall, it is a great product for kids who want to create flip book cartoons.
