Product Description

Portable Photosensitive Dry Film, PCB Dry Film for Circuit Production Photoresist Sheets 30cm x 1m PCB Electronic Photosensitive Photographic Film Components Sheet, Replace Thermal Transfer PCB Board

About This Item

Introducing our Portable Photosensitive Dry Film, the perfect solution for all your PCB production needs. Whether you're a seasoned electronics enthusiast or a professional circuit board manufacturer, this photosensitive film will revolutionize your workflow and streamline the production process. Our universal photosensitive dry film is designed to be easily attached to the surface of PCB boards, making them photosensitive and ready for the next steps in the production process. With its exceptional hole covering ability and great adaptive capacity to different materials, this dry film is suitable for electroplating, hole covering, and etching. Say goodbye to wrinkled or color error films.

Our photosensitive dry film is suitable for use in usual plating baths, ensuring a smooth and reliable performance every time. With a size of approximately 30cm x 1m (3.3ft x 1.0ft) and weighing just 55g (1.9oz), this dry film is lightweight and easy to handle. Operating this dry film is simple and straightforward. Start by uncovering the film, which is sandwiched between two layers of protective film.

Tear off one side of the film, and carefully apply it to the clean and flattened copper plate, avoiding any bubbles. Use a slightly heated iron to fix the film in place. When it comes to printing the circuit board film, we recommend using a film for the highest level of precision. However, if precision is not necessary, sulfuric acid paper can be used for printing.

The exposure process is quick and efficient, with the printed pattern only requiring approximately 30 minutes under ordinary energy-saving lamps. If you have access to an exposure machine, one minute of exposure should suffice. After exposure, the photosensitive film will undergo a color change, turning from light to dark blue. This change indicates that the circuit diagram has been successfully transferred onto the board.

Develop the board by removing the remaining protective film and placing it into a developer solution (1:100 water ratio) for a few minutes. Gently wipe the board with a cotton swab during the development process. Etching the board is the next step, using an etchant water saturated solution. Once etching is complete, remove the film by soaking the board in a 1:60 or 70 solution for a few minutes.

Your PCB is now ready for use. Experience the convenience and efficiency of our Portable Photosensitive Dry Film. Whether you are involved in PCB fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, design, prototyping, etching, soldering, or testing, this dry film will exceed your expectations. Its compatibility with industry-standard processes and materials ensures seamless integration into existing workflows. Don't settle for subpar components or unreliable production methods.

Trust in our high-quality PCB dry film to deliver professional-grade results every time. Shop now and unlock the potential of your circuit board production process with our Portable Photosensitive Dry Film.

Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: What is Portable Photosensitive Dry Film used for?

Answer: Portable Photosensitive Dry Film is primarily used in electronics for creating printed circuit boards (PCBs). This film allows for the precise transfer of circuit designs onto substrates by exposing it to light, thereby creating a photoresist layer. This layer subsequently enables etching processes for circuit production. It is ideal for hobbyists, engineers, and DIY enthusiasts looking to fabricate custom PCBs and offers great flexibility in circuit creation.
  • Question: What sizes does the Portable Photosensitive Dry Film come in?

Answer: The Portable Photosensitive Dry Film typically comes in various sizes to accommodate different PCB sizes. This particular product measures 30cm x 1m, providing ample coverage for multiple small to medium-sized circuits in a single roll. This length allows users to create multiple PCB designs, making it a cost-effective solution for electronic projects without compromising on quality.
  • Question: How do you use PCB Dry Film for circuit production?

Answer: To use PCB Dry Film, first, clean the glass or metal substrate you will apply it to. Cut the film to your desired size, then peel off one side and adhere it to the substrate. After exposure to UV light through your PCB design, the photoresist image transfers perfectly onto the film. This is followed by developing the film in a suitable solution, allowing you to etch the circuit pattern onto the substrate effectively.
  • Question: Can the Portable Photosensitive Dry Film be used for amateur projects?

Answer: Yes, Portable Photosensitive Dry Film is perfect for amateur projects, especially for electronic hobbyists and students. Its user-friendly nature makes it accessible for those new to circuit design and PCB fabrication. Whether you're building a simple hobby circuit or a more complex electronic project, this film provides an affordable and effective way to bring your ideas to life.
  • Question: What are the advantages of using Dry Film over liquid photoresist?

Answer: Using Portable Photosensitive Dry Film has several advantages over liquid photoresist. Firstly, it eliminates the need for mixing chemicals, which reduces prep time and minimizes errors during application. Furthermore, the dry film is more precise, allowing for sharper circuit patterns with less chance of underexposure or overexposure, leading to more reliable circuit functionality. This makes it the preferred choice for many professionals and DIY enthusiasts.
  • Question: What is the exposure time required for this PCB Dry Film?

Answer: The exposure time for the Portable Photosensitive Dry Film can vary based on the UV light source used. Typically, exposure times range from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the intensity of the UV light. It is crucial to refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for optimal results. Achieving the correct exposure is essential for ensuring accurate transfer of the circuit design onto the film.
  • Question: Is this film compatible with all types of substrates?

Answer: The Portable Photosensitive Dry Film is generally compatible with a wide range of substrates, including FR-4, glass, and metals. However, for best results, ensuring that the substrate surface is smooth and free from contaminants is critical. This compatibility is beneficial for users looking to experiment with different materials in their PCB projects, providing the versatility needed in various applications.
  • Question: How should I store the Portable Photosensitive Dry Film?

Answer: To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the Portable Photosensitive Dry Film, it should be stored in a cool, dark environment away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Keeping the film in its original packaging until use can help prevent exposure to unwanted light, preserving its photosensitivity. Proper storage is particularly important if you are planning to use the film after a period of time to maintain its performance quality.
  • Question: Can the Portable Photosensitive Dry Film be reused?

Answer: Generally, Portable Photosensitive Dry Film is designed for single use. Once exposed and developed during the PCB fabrication process, the photoresist layer cannot be reused for additional cycles or projects. This single-use function means you should plan your PCB designs carefully to make the most out of each roll, especially when working on multiple projects.
  • Question: Where can I buy Portable Photosensitive Dry Film in Malawi?

Answer: You can buy Portable Photosensitive Dry Film from Ubuy in Malawi. Ubuy offers a variety of electronic components and materials, including this specialized dry film for PCB production. Their platform is user-friendly and provides detailed product descriptions along with customer reviews, ensuring you make an informed purchasing decision.
