Master Grade Sharpening Stones ST-1990 Editorial Review
The Master Grade White Ceramic Sharpening Stick Honing Rod is designed to help quickly sharpen knives and keep debris off the surface pores. The stick has two grooved sides to make it easy to clean debris as knife sharpening is in progress. The ceramic is Mohs 8, meaning that it is equivalent to grit designations of between 2,000 and 3,000. Mohs hardness of 9 makes this stick most durable than other sticks available in the market including the ST-2800. The stick is capable of sharpening knives of up to HRC62 steel hardness to the highest level. The sharpening stick fits into most knife blocks of 0.5" diameter.
