Answer: I have mine uncovered outside in South Louisiana. I've had it for 2 years now and seems ok considering it's always raining here. -

Can the metal net be removed and replaced by a traditional net?
Answer: We do not recommend this. This net is meant to be permanently affixed to the table. If you were to remove it, I don't believe there is enough space to attach a regular clamping net due to the size of the rails. -
