Answer: It has a pull handle inside the tailgate that releases the cover, so if your tailgate has a lock it is secure. -

Will this cover fit a factory tie down system? And are the crossbars permanently installed in the cover?
Answer: Not sure about the factory tie down option, it actually comes with a set of brackets to brace it to the bed. The Crossbars are permanently installed on the cover as well, they are curved upwards into cover to keep it from caving. -

Could this cover be installed if the truck has a tool box?
Answer: I would say it depends on the toolbox and how it's mounted. Obviously if it's higher than the truck bed or using the rails, or attached over the back of the bed then no. -

Will this cover fit my truck with a backrack?
Answer: If you mount it first then make the holes for a back rack it will fit. Otherwise, it mounts on the bed and will not fit. -

What secures the cover when it is rolled up to the cab?
Answer: There are clips at the end where it secures it and holds it in place. It's a great item and easy to install. -

How does the material the cover is made of hold up being outside 24/7 sun, wind, rain, snow, and hail?
Answer: It holds up good. Had it for 2 winters so far. Holding up good. I live in northern Minnesota. Truck stays outside 24/7.
