Gramercy Kitchen Co's mandoline easily slices vegetables into thin even slices as thin as paper, however, there have been a few issues raised regarding the food safety holder and gloves have been expressed to not be very useful. The blade is permanent only the blade dial can change the thickness, with julienne sizes fixed at 4.5mm and 9mm. While the mandoline can cut zucchini lengthwise, it cannot handle hand-cut fries but rather waffle fries. Easy to clean with every other instruction written solely in millimeters, and the gloves are machine washable. Some customers have complained about feedback regarding the thickness of the slicer and wobbling, making it difficult to use. While easy to use, the flimsiness of the material and the tightness of the knobs have affected some reviewers' opinions.
