It is compatible with Windows 7 and 10, Linux, and FreeBSD but not with Mac. Although it can work with RAID 0 or 1, it is best used to connect one SSD to get the maximum speed. One disadvantage is that it is not suitable for JBOD enclosures; the compatibility issue will depend on the operating system or motherboard BIOS.
