Question:
Does it switch from 12v to 110 automatically when you connect to shore power?
Answer: The FM-901DZ freezer can be plugged in with both AC power and the DC power at the same time. If both AC and DC are plugged in at the same time, then the unit will primarily operate on AC. If the AC power source fails, DC will become primary source of power supply. -

Answer: Noise Level: 48.82 (dBA) -

Approx how long will the unit stay cool after is unplugged?
Answer: Not sure, I would say not long say 2 days at most, keeping chilled for, maybe longer. In a box like this things go back Maine thing depending on how often it’s opened, how much is frozen. It works in reverse once power shut off but slower and then turns to sweatbox. -
Question:
Whynter 45-quart holds 60 cans. Whynter 90-quart holds 96 cans. Twice as many quarts, but only 60% more cans. Why the disparity?
Answer: My thought is. The 90 qt. is splits into 2 compartments make it harder to stack all those cans. However, I have not tried to fill my fridge and freezer with cans. I stuff it full of food and love it. -

Are the rings in the latch large enough to put a combo lock through?
Answer: A combination lock would not fit this unit. -
Question:
What information does the LED display show? I'm wondering if I can see how many amps are being pulled to operate at any given time?
Answer: The display shows the temp settings and/or the current temp by zone, and the power source (AC/DC) with input voltage. It does not show amperage, but the unit pulls a maximum of 5.5A on 12V, 2.75A on 24V, and 1A on 115V. The compressor ramps up and down like a variable speed fan motor and does not constantly pull the maximum amperage. The only trouble I’ve had with it is the lighter socket cord is so cheap that it can’t handle the 5.5A 12V input continuously, and the cord melts before the in-line fuse blows. Works flawlessly though on 115V input. -

Is that energy guide for real? Seriously only 150 kilowatt hours for a 3 cubic foot unit? Can anyone measure their power and verify that?
Answer: Well I,can tell u it,uses less power than a small college fridge -

Answer: This model does not have a transit bag available. -

Answer: Yes, it does. It's just a larger capacity unit. -

How many cubic feet capacity?
Answer: The unit has a 90 Quarts Capacity, which is measured at about 3 cubic feet.
