Lokar Accelerator Cables Editorial Review
The Lokar TC-1000HT48 48" Hi-Tech Throttle Cable Kit receives a mixed yet generally positive reception from users who appreciate its quality and compatibility for specific applications, particularly modified engines. Users have reported successful installations on various car models—including a 1973 Dodge M30 motorhome—even when faced with incompatible original throttle cable setups. The cable's Construction features a durable housing with slick plastic tubing and braided steel, which appeals to users looking for both performance and aesthetics in their upgrades. However, it is essential to note that while many found the cable to suit their needs, others encountered challenges with compatibility, especially when integrating the kit with non-Lokar hardware. This led to some customization requirements, as the universal fit of the product did not always align with every vehicle's specifications. Additionally, instructions accompanying the kit have been described as somewhat unclear, leading to potential mishaps during installation. A few users advised having some prior knowledge or experience to ensure a smooth installation process. Overall, the Lokar TC-1000HT48 kit is well-regarded for its functionality and style, particularly for modified applications, as long as users are prepared for possible customization. **
