To enhance the trapping process, one can purchase diatomaceous earth from Amazon, put it in the inner well, and it dries up the bodies of the bed bugs as they crawl from place to place. Customers have expressed that these little interceptors (combined with permethrin and a healthy amount of vigilance) have helped them rid their homes of bugs other than bed bugs, including centipedes and spiders. Some wished they were less obvious so as not to be so visible. They are much larger than they seem in the pictures, about 5" in diameter. The interceptors can withstand weights greater than 200lbs and solid oak bed frame.
