Spicer 5-789X U-Joint Kit 7260 Series (ISR)

The Spicer 5-789X U-Joint Kit from the 7260 Series has received mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a blend of satisfaction and disappointment regarding its fitment and labeling. Customers praise the durability and quality of the product, highlighting its robust Construction that is characteristic of the Spicer brand. For those whose vehicles align well with the product specifications, the U-joint fits perfectly at the yoke end, facilitating smooth operations. However, several users have encountered challenges with fitment. Some found that the U-joint was too wide for their applications and required modifications, such as grinding parts down for a proper fit. This has led to frustration among customers who expect a straightforward installation. Additionally, concerns about the labeling of parts were raised, with users expressing the need for clearer identification of model numbers and components to simplify the selection process. Furthermore, there were reports of receiving previously used parts, which led to dissatisfaction among some buyers. Many customers desire a product that is new and in pristine condition prior to installation. In summary, while the Spicer 5-789X U-Joint Kit is appreciated for its durability and build quality, potential buyers should be aware of the fitment issues and the need for precise application matching, as well as the importance of confirming the condition of the product received. **
