Answer: This drill bit set is particularly successful in cutting through hard metals such as stainless steel, cast iron, high temperature alloy, and titanium alloy. It can also be used for softer materials. -

Answer: Yes, this drill bit set is made of M35 Cobalt HSS which offers higher durability, heat resistance, and abrasion resistance. -

What should I use for hanging blinds on a steel/metal door?
Answer: You can, but you would need cutting oil! -

How well will these bits hold against 3/4” hardened steel?
Answer: They will not drill hardened steel. Other cobalt sets work better, but the only luck I have had with hardened steel is a diamond hole saw for porcelain with constant water over the bit. -

Can I order a replacement drill bit if I break one of the uncommon bits in the large set?
Answer: Those bits are excellent for stainless, just start with little pressure. They are so inexpensive compared to the name brand, I would buy another set. -
Question:
What are the dimensions of the actual drill index box?
Answer: The dimensions are 14 1/4" long X 4 1/4" wide X 2 1/2" deep. The picture shows a gray color box, but mine is black. -
Question:
Do these bits work with an impact drill?
Answer: Only if you are drilling wood. If you are trying to drill steel and concrete, they will not work. Concrete will definitely destroy your bits. Soft steel, you may be okay. -

Where are these bits made?
Answer: China -

Can these be used with any kind of drill?
Answer: Pretty much any kind of drill, yes. Nearly any drill you buy (with the exception of very specialized ones) has an adjustable chuck that will work with these bits. They will not work with an impact driver, though. -

Are these split tip drill bits?
Answer: No, they are not.
