It supports microphone mixing, recording and has a headphone output. Users can connect the device between an HDMI source and an optional display and begin recording immediately by pressing a button. The device can also record live streams. However, it only records manually, so there is no option to schedule future recordings. Looking at customer reviews, some users found the device had limitations in terms of recordings being split into multiple files with a 17-18 minute cap, while others experienced glitches and corrupted files. However, the device does capture crystal clear videos and only suffers limitations when it comes to editing recordings outside of the device. A 12VDC PSU is required, which is included in the box.
