Answer: Muir Glen's inner can lining is now shiny, metallic copper that is coated with transparent, clear, vinyl plastic. Vinyl has been shown to sometimes contain cancer-causing nitrosamines and sometimes not. Phthalates are in most of the plastics that we use every day. -
