The crane comes with a U-shaped tripod mounting bracket that can attach to most heavy-duty tripods having a quick release plate and a 1/4-20″ screw mount. The ProAm USA Crane Stand is an optional base support, with all-metal Stand Mount, for users who don't have a tripod that meets the specifications required. However, the crane doesn't have a vertical tilt adjustment lever, and you might need to buy it separately if you want it. The product is perfect for the Canon 60D, and although you can use it with a GoPro, it may get tricky trying to counterbalance. In general, balance is everything with a crane/jib. Reviews for the product are mixed. Some users found it to be an excellent and sturdy product, while others found it to be a complete disaster. One user noted that it wobbled back and forth and shook in every direction, regardless of how they tried to balance it, which was a huge disappointment for them.
