Designed for NOAA applications, this self-contained LNA module enhances reception of weather data and delivers ultra-low noise performance. Featuring a 137MHz center frequency and a high attenuation rate outside the 5 MHz band pass area, this module guarantees optimal signal quality. With a minimum gain of 30 dB within the band pass area, you can count on clear and precise weather images.
The custom-designed high-performance SAW filter ensures efficient filtering and precise frequency centering. To ensure maximum signal integrity, the SAWbird + NOAA module consists of two ultra-low noise LNAs sandwiched between the high-performance SAW filter. Each LNA module is equipped with two EMI shields that isolate the delicate LNAs from external interference. Additionally, the module features a M3 mounting hole for convenient PCB mounting. Power options are versatile to accommodate different setups.
For SDRs with Biasty compatibility, the recommended power input is 3V-5V DC through the SMA output port. If you don't have a bias tee compatible SDR, you can utilize the external power options via the micro USB port or power input header (female 0.1 header). The recommended external power input is 3.3V-5.5V DC. For added convenience, the SAWbird + NOAA module includes overvoltage protection circuits to safeguard against power surges.
