Question:
Do the seatbacks come off for upside down transporting?
Answer: No, they don’t come off, but they fold. You can use bungee and a deck mount kit for kayaks to secure the seatbacks and a piece of bungee looped under seats to hold paddle for travel. -
Question:
How does it handle with only one person?
Answer: If you are by yourself, you can put a cooler in the front and fill it with water to simulate an 80 lb person. This works very well to keep the canoe fairly level. -
Question:
Can one person ride in this canoe?
Answer: Only if you do it from the middle seat, otherwise the canoe gets pretty unstable. -
Question:
What size/length paddle is recommended?
Answer: Paddle length would depend on the height of the people paddling, but we ended up returning the canoe as it was too heavy and big for our small SUV.
